1. Who I Am

GritBit Infotech is a founder-led software and applied-AI practice in Doha that takes products from idea to production and keeps them running. I design, build, ship, and operate an active suite of nearly 30 web applications, APIs, and AI services — most of them live today — from dedicated private infrastructure: enterprise procurement platforms, e-commerce stores with ERP integration, document-intelligence engines, WhatsApp AI assistants, learning platforms, and analytics dashboards — several of them in daily use by real organizations in Qatar and the GCC. What sets this portfolio apart is the AI foundation: the AI capabilities you see here — document understanding, conversational assistants, image generation, speech — are built on a private, self-hosted AI engine. Client documents, conversations, and customer data can be processed entirely on that engine — with no per-token vendor fees for the core AI stack. For clients in the GCC with data-residency and confidentiality requirements, that is not a technical detail — it is the product.

2. What I Can Build for You

Document Intelligence & Citation-Grounded AI

Turn dense PDFs — financial reports, catalogs, contracts, invoices — into systems that answer questions with page-level citations, extract structured data, and flag forgeries. Built on vision-based document reading (works on scans and handwriting), hybrid semantic search, and answer-validation layers that guard against fabricated claims. Proven by: IntelliDocs, DocVerify, Folio, Invoice OCR API, AI Financial Document Assistant.

Conversational AI & WhatsApp Automation

Full-service AI assistants that live where your customers already are: WhatsApp and the web. Multimodal bots that understand text, photos, and voice notes — and reply with text, voice, and generated images — with content-safety guardrails, rate limiting, and conversation analytics built in. Proven by: Noor AI Tutor (production), bilingual Recruitment Journey Assistant, corporate-portal support assistant, WhatsApp Voice AI bot.

Private On-Premise AI

Chat, retrieval, vision, OCR, image generation, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech all run on self-hosted AI infrastructure; a self-hosted translation service for 16+ languages is in development. Your documents, conversations, and customer data never leave your environment; there are no per-token vendor bills, and the system works even without internet access to any AI provider. Proven by: the document-AI, assistant, image, and speech products on this page; ImagiGen and the speech engine run fully on-premise (a private translation service is in development).

Enterprise SaaS Platforms

Multi-tenant, workflow-driven business platforms with role-based access, configurable approval chains, audit trails, background job processing, automated PDF generation, and multilingual right-to-left-ready UIs — engineered for organizations that need control and traceability. Proven by: SourceWright e-procurement suite (buyer portal, supplier portal, and platform console), Homeflow.

E-commerce & ERP Integration

Complete retail platforms — storefront, back office, payments, returns, invoicing — integrated with the systems a business already runs: ERP inventory sync, payment gateways, OTP authentication, encrypted customer data, and full audit logging. Proven by: bilingual school-uniform e-commerce platform (30+ school catalogs), enterprise field-sales app for a major Qatari enterprise.

Learning Platforms & EdTech

From AI tutors that teach step-by-step over WhatsApp, to AI engines that generate flashcards and quizzes for any LMS, to offline-first multilingual study apps with 14,000+ questions — learning products that engage real students in multiple languages, including full Arabic support. Proven by: Noor AI Tutor, AI Learning Content Engine, Arabic Grammar Self-Assessment app.

Analytics & Dashboards

Operational data turned into answers: KPI dashboards, threshold and recurring-issue analysis, per-customer drilldowns, time-series forecasting with plain-English insights, and usage-metering portals — with CSV/Excel in and out so they fit existing workflows. Proven by: a streaming-quality insights portal for a TV/streaming operations software team [NAME WITH PERMISSION: Castling], ForecastPro, Gen-AI usage & billing dashboard.

Authentication & Platform Infrastructure

Shared sign-on across an entire suite of applications with a two-line integration, hardened token handling, CSRF protection, and rate limiting — plus the unglamorous work that makes products dependable: health monitoring, structured logging, database migrations, and secure API design. Proven by: GritBit SSO Overlay (production, powering sign-in across the suite), hardened token-secured APIs throughout the portfolio.

SourceWright — Full-cycle e-Procurement, from purchase request to signed contract

SourceWright buyer portal
SourceWright — enterprise procurement (real system)

The challenge: Procurement teams juggle requisitions, RFQs, supplier communications, bid evaluations, and contracts across email and spreadsheets — with no audit trail and no enforcement of approval authority. What was built: A multi-tenant e-procurement SaaS platform in three coordinated applications: an internal buyer portal (purchase requisitions, RFQ/tender lifecycle with templates and clarifications, bid evaluations, vendor management, contracts), a supplier portal (self-registration, tender invitations, bid submission with BOQ line items, Q&A, award tracking), and a platform console for provisioning and monitoring customer tenants. A configurable workflow engine enforces delegation-of-authority approval chains with SLAs, personal work queues, and a verifiable audit trail. Multilingual UI with full right-to-left support, dashboards, automated PDF generation, and email notifications throughout. Built on: A multi-tenant enterprise web platform with a custom workflow engine, background job processing, and health monitoring — deployable fully on-premise or in a private cloud. Status: Demo available on request. Demo: Available on request — a guided walkthrough of the running system.

Noor — An AI tutor that lives entirely inside WhatsApp

The challenge: Students need patient, personalized tutoring help; most AI tools require app installs, accounts, and English-only interfaces — and give away answers instead of teaching. What was built: An AI tutor students reach by simply messaging a WhatsApp number. Student Mode teaches Socratically — one step at a time, in English or Arabic; Teacher Mode gives educators fast, complete answers and lesson-planning support. Students can send homework photos (the assistant reads them, including handwriting and math) and voice notes (transcribed and answered — optionally with a spoken voice-note reply and AI-generated illustrations). A parallel content-safety classifier gates every message, with per-user rate limits, daily usage meters, and an admin dashboard for reviewing conversations and usage statistics. Built for a Qatar-based AI education company [NAME WITH PERMISSION: TechPreneur]. Built on: WhatsApp Business messaging over a multimodal private on-premise AI engine — vision, voice-in/voice-out, and image generation — plus a hardened external API edition for third-party integration, with key-based access, streaming responses, and full developer documentation. Status: In production — demo available on request.

Recruitment Journey Assistant — Digitizing walk-in hiring days for a major Qatari enterprise

The challenge: Walk-in hiring events are chaotic: hundreds of candidates need registration, directions, document submission, and coordination — in two languages — with no record of how the day went. What was built: A bilingual (English / Qatari Arabic) guided assistant that walks each candidate step-by-step through the hiring day — registration, directions, application and CV submission, waiting-area coordination — ending with an instant emoji-and-comment feedback survey. Delivered on two channels from one conversation engine: a branded web chat and a WhatsApp bot, with gender-specific message variants, full right-to-left handling, bot protection, and secure sessions. HR gets an archive of every conversation with completion times and satisfaction data. Built on: Branded web chat + WhatsApp Business messaging over a real-time conversation engine with deterministic journey flow, bot protection, and signed sessions. Status: Delivered to the client — walkthrough available on request.

Corporate Portal Support Assistant — Citation-grounded answers for business customers of a major Qatari enterprise

The challenge: Corporate customers of a busy e-services portal flood support channels with questions about corporate service cards, invoices, credit limits, vehicle tags, and consumption reports — all answerable from the official user guide nobody reads. What was built: An AI support assistant embedded in the client's corporate portal. Every answer is grounded in the company's official user guide through retrieval-augmented generation — no guesswork — and streamed to the user in real time. Multi-layer safety guardrails classify every message, keeping conversations strictly on-topic and blocking misuse, offensive content, and prompt manipulation. All processing runs on a private AI engine: no customer conversation leaves the server. Built on: A streaming assistant service with a private on-premise AI engine, hybrid semantic retrieval with multi-stage relevance reranking, and token-secured endpoints. Status: Delivered to the client — private deployment (demo on request).

School-Uniform E-commerce Platform — Online retail for a uniform supplier serving 30+ schools in Qatar [NAME WITH PERMISSION: Noble House Trading]

Noble House storefront
Noble House storefront — real system

The challenge: A school-uniform retailer serving over 30 schools needed to move from counter sales to online retail — bilingual, integrated with its existing inventory system, and safe with parents' personal data. What was built: A complete bilingual (English/Arabic, RTL) storefront where parents shop by school and campus with size charts, wishlists, carts, OTP-secured accounts, checkout, order tracking, and returns — plus a full admin console: dashboard, product/school/campus management, a size-chart editor, order and returns processing, refunds, PDF invoicing, mailbox, and audit log. Stock levels sync automatically from the client's ERP, and checkout is payment-gateway integrated. Customer personal data is encrypted at the field level. Built on: A modern storefront and admin console integrated with the client's ERP and payment gateway; encrypted customer data and a full audit trail. Status: Demo available on request. Demo: Available on request — a guided walkthrough of the running system.

IntelliDocs — Upload your documents, get an assistant that cites its sources

IntelliDocs sign-in via GritBit SSO
IntelliDocs — sign-in via the shared GritBit SSO

The challenge: Businesses sit on dense PDFs — valuation reports, product catalogs, manuals — that only experts can navigate. Generic AI chat tools hallucinate; they can't be trusted with decisions. What was built: A document-intelligence platform where users organize PDFs into collections (each with tailored assistant behavior), watch documents flow through a visible ingestion pipeline, and then chat with them. Every answer carries page-level citations with images pulled from the source pages, and a built-in validation layer checks each answer against the source material to guard against fabricated claims. Handles scanned and complex documents up to 200 pages through vision-based document reading. Already in use with real client data, including financial valuation reports — client data is never part of the public demo, which runs on sample documents only. Built on: A private on-premise AI document engine: vision-based document reading, hybrid semantic search, multi-stage reranking, and cited answers — behind single sign-on. Status: Demo available on request. Demo: Available on request — a guided walkthrough of the running system.

DocVerify — Catch forged documents before they cost you money

DocVerify document fraud detection
DocVerify — document fraud detection (real system)

The challenge: Organizations accept invoices, bank statements, and employment letters at face value — and forgery is now trivially easy with consumer editing tools. What was built: A document fraud-detection platform that screens uploads through a multi-layer forensic pipeline: image-manipulation analysis, metadata and font auditing, AI language and visual inspection, duplicate-submission detection (exact and semantic), and cross-document identity reconciliation. The result is a clear authenticity verdict with a weighted risk score, explained findings with severities, and visual highlights drawn directly on the suspicious regions of the page. Step weights and verdict rules are tunable in a settings UI, and a companion native Android app lets field staff capture and verify documents from a phone. Built on: A private on-premise AI document-forensics engine combining vision, language, and image-forensics analysis; native Android companion app for field staff. Status: Demo available on request. Demo: Available on request — a guided walkthrough of the running system.

Streaming-Quality Insights Portal — From raw quality exports to instant operational answers (built for a TV/streaming operations software team [NAME WITH PERMISSION: Castling])

The challenge: A TV/streaming operations team received monthly subscriber-quality exports from their monitoring platform and spent hours in spreadsheets answering the same recurring operational questions every month. What was built: An analytics portal where admins upload the monthly quality rollups and analysts immediately get executive KPI dashboards, threshold-breach analysis against configurable quality thresholds, recurring problem-device detection across months, platform/OS/manufacturer breakdowns, session and EPG views, and per-device/per-customer drilldowns. Accounts are auto-classified (customer/shop/internal) by configurable rules with admin exclusion lists, roles separate data administration from read-only analysis, and every result table exports back to CSV for reporting. Built on: A self-contained analytics platform with role-based access — data administration separated from read-only analysis — and CSV export throughout. Status: Demo available on request. Demo: Available on request — a guided walkthrough of the running system.

GritBit Search — AI product sourcing for procurement buyers and trading companies

GritBit Search live results
GritBit Search — real sourcing results

The challenge: Sourcing teams spend days turning RFQ line items into real purchasable products — searching the web, filtering noise, and copying prices and links into spreadsheets. What was built: An AI-agent-powered sourcing assistant: type what you need in plain language — or upload an entire inquiry spreadsheet — and it searches the live web, filters out articles and noise, extracts prices and specs, and streams back real product cards with names, prices, photos, and supplier links. A semantic relevance engine understands model numbers and specifications, so an exact variant query finds the exact variant, not a lookalike. Bulk mode fills a live table from a spreadsheet's line items and exports an enriched Excel — with candidate matches and thumbnails — ready to share. Built on: An AI agent for live web search with a private semantic relevance engine; streaming results; Excel import and enriched export. Status: Demo available on request. Demo: Available on request — a guided walkthrough of the running system.

ImagiGen — A private AI image studio on your own infrastructure

ImagiGen creation studio
ImagiGen — private image studio (real system)

The challenge: Teams want AI image generation, but public tools send prompts and outputs to third-party clouds — a non-starter for brand-sensitive and confidential work. What was built: A self-hosted AI image studio: describe what you want, pick from six style presets and five aspect ratios, and get original images in seconds — with an assistant that automatically sharpens your prompt for better results. Users get a personal gallery with history and filtering, fair-use daily limits, and single sign-on. Because the entire generation engine runs on private infrastructure, prompts and images never leave the premises. Built on: A private on-premise image-generation engine — sign-on protected, with per-user fair-use limits and queue management. Status: In production — demo available on request. Demo: Available on request — a guided walkthrough of the running system.

Arabic Grammar Self-Assessment — 14,080 questions, six languages, works fully offline

Self-Assessment study portal
Self-Assessment — study portal (real system)

The challenge: A madrasa's Arabic-grammar curriculum lived in Excel question banks and a scattered lesson website — unusable for self-paced student practice, especially for students with limited connectivity. What was built: An offline-first study app with 14,080 questions across syntax, morphology, and year-wise exam papers, where 10,684 questions are linked to 54 lesson pages: answer wrong, and the exact matching lesson opens instantly beside the quiz. The entire experience — interface and content — runs in six languages (Urdu, English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Arabic) with automatic RTL/LTR switching, installs like an app, and works fully offline with progress saved on-device. A PIN-protected teacher mode lets educators edit questions and lessons directly. An AI-assisted content pipeline converted the raw Excel banks and lesson website into a clean, translated, cross-linked knowledge base. Built on: An installable web app, fully offline-capable after first load, with an AI-assisted multilingual content pipeline — zero server dependency. Status: In production — demo available on request. Demo: Available on request — a guided walkthrough of the running system.
